Assistant Professor of Comparative Medicine and Neurobiology

My lab studies the neural mechanisms underlying decision-making in humans, individual differences in these mechanisms, and the possible contribution of decision traits to extreme behaviors in adolescence, aging, obesity and mental illness. Our research focuses on decision-making under uncertainty, and combines behavioral techniques with functional MRI, as well as eye tracking and physiological measurements.

I completed a PhD in computational Neuroscience in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, under the supervision of Prof. Rafi Malach from the Weizmann Institute of science. I then moved to the lab of Prof. Paul Glimcher at New York University, to conduct postdoctoral research on decision-making, and  in 2009 I joined Yale School of Medicine as an assistant professor.
